Your quintessential guides to Japan, Southeast Asia and India.
4 days Classic Short Stay
Discover bustling Seoul, see Gyeongbok Palace.
Make your way to Seoul, South Korea’s capital. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. This dynamic city may be well and truly on fast-forward for everything from fashion to technology, but it is still deeply rooted in tradition – you’ll find yourself stumbling upon temples and palaces amongst the glittering skyscrapers and neon billboards. Seoul is also the place for foodies, the street snacks are second to none!
You will be picked up from you hotel to begin your full day seat-in-coach tour of the city. Your first stop will be at Jogyesa Temple, followed by a visit to Gyeongbok Palace, where, as well as exploring, you will see the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Next, head to Cheongwadae Exhibition Hall and Ginseng shopping centre. Enjoy some free time for lunch. Next, take a stroll along Insadong Street, browse the stalls at Namademun Market and a visit to N Seoul Tower for panoramic views over the city. Drop-off will be at Myeongdong or City Hall. Itinerary will vary if this day falls on a Tuesday.
Enjoy the day at leisure to explore the many sights and sounds of Seoul.
Your day is at leisure until the time comes to transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

A generous and open-minded tour guide, this is how my travellers would describe me. Whilst in South Korea, you will explore Korea’s iconic sights, less known sites and authentic and exciting cultural experience.
Sue was so knowledgeable and courteous. I have travelled with Wendy Wu before and the experience was unparalleled.
