Cruise the Amazon in style onboard the La Perla. With 14 beautiful cabins and exceptional food from the onboard chef, daily activities show you the hidden corners of the Amazon Rainforest and its culture.
Arrive in Iquitos and transfer to the river port of Nauta. Board your La Perla cruise and begin sailing along the Marañón River. As darkness falls, venture out by boat to experience the rainforest at night and search for nocturnal wildlife.
Wake amidst the waterways of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve and enjoy breakfast on the Yanayacu River, keeping watch for the pink river dolphins that frequent these waters. Paddle by canoe through this rich aquatic ecosystem before returning aboard for lunch. Later, meet a shaman from the San Regis community to learn about ancestral rituals, medicinal plants and the Amazonian worldview, followed by a tree-planting ceremony.
An early boat excursion offers the chance to search for wildlife as the rainforest awakens. After breakfast, combine a gentle forest walk with canoeing, immersing yourself in the extraordinary biodiversity of the Amazon. Later, explore the Shiriyacu stream and try traditional piranha fishing, with further opportunities to look for pink river dolphins along the way.
Set out at dawn to look for birds and primates before breakfast. After disembarking, visit a rescue centre where endangered manatees and other native animals are rehabilitated for release into the wild, then transfer to Iquitos Airport.

All of our tours offer a single room supplement, which means you’ll have a room to yourself throughout your chosen tour. Continue the check-out process for the applicable supplement.
On most tours, you can choose our 'Happy to Share' option, which may enable you to share a twin room with other solo customers of the same gender who also request Happy to Share. If a share partner is found, the Single Supplement will be removed from your booking. If a share partner is not found, the Single Supplement will remain and is payable with your final balance.
If you are booking on a Dedicated Solo departure, a single room is already included in the price and there are no additional single supplements to pay.
