Great itinerary with lots of interesting locations to visit and things to experience. Quite excellent range of Japanese and International cuisine offered, all of which was to a very high standard. Very comfortable coach and rail travel. An exceptional guide made the holiday. This is interesting, safe carefree travel at its best.

Fantastic trip, flawless from start to finish. Guided through this full on experience by the best national tour guide that we have ever met, many thanks and kudos to Mr Hoffman who went out of his way to make our visit to this visually stunning and beautiful country. Nothing was to much trouble for this kind and knowledgeable man, we cannot thank him enough for his attention to details and individual guests. I may add that all of the local guides were of the same mind set and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour, but a certain amount of fitness is required as this experience consists of a hectic schedule to see all that we had, but well worth the effort. Review for Ancient Empires of China & Japan
A comprehensive tour of the best of China and Japan. Excellent hotels, superb guides. You must be prepared to support very early starts on most days as it is the only way to enjoy many of the popular venues before the crowds arrive. Leaving the hotel on a coach by 07.30 is not unusual. It would be impossible to cover as much ground and visit so many of the stand out destinations as a solo traveller. Our Wendy Wu supported travel arrangements with multiple flights and bullet train journeys proved faultless. Overall we felt this tour offered good value for money.

Another amazing tour with Wendy Wu. Excellent guide, Midori shared so much knowledge and information throughout the whole tour. She looked after all so well. Hotels and food were all of a good standard, although some better than others. Seeing Mount Fuji, was special to everyone. It was such a great tour to go from the big cities to the mountains, which were a bit quieter and many more autumn leaves. Can’t wait to go on my next adventure
