JAPAN IS RE-OPENING!

Japan is opening its borders on 10 June exclusively for travellers on fully inclusive tours. With travel paused for over two years, Japan's stunning nature and spectacular attractions have had a chance to rest and rejuvenate and are now ready to welcome visitors back at their very best. As is that famous Japanese hospitality - warmer, more welcoming and authentic than ever before.

Be First to Japan with our exclusive Jewels of Japan July departure

Set amongst the valleys and forests of holy Koyasan are a huge number of monasteries, temples and shrines, all clustered around Kongobu-ji, the headquarters of the Shingon school of Buddhism, founded in the 9th century. This isolated, atmospheric valley is encircled by eight towering peaks, said to resemble an auspicious lotus flower. This is a place to savour the tranquillity, the beauty of nature and spectacular views as you explore some of the main holy temples and sites – wander through Okunoin, a vast cemetery of 200,000 stupas, to the mystical Hall of Lanterns hosts 10,000 oil lamps that are kept permanently lit.

The True Meaning of Wellness Tourism

I don’t do yoga! The mention of the ‘downward dog’ leaves me in a rhapsody of laughter. I’ve even tried goat yoga but broke away from the ‘peace circle’ to play with the therapy animals. Meditation … an excuse to compile the weekly grocery list. My pursuit of wellness is through travel. While Wellness Tourism […]
