You'll be joined by a master to learn the movements of several different forms of qigong. An ancient Chinese moving meditation, practicing qigong balances tranquillity and movement with breath exercises and repetitive, slow movements, helping modern leaders steady the mind, improve focus, and foster the inner strength needed to navigate today’s fast-paced world.

Fly overnight to Chongqing, China's ‘cyberpunk’ city. Depending on your time of arrival, the rest of the day is yours to start soaking up the local culture.
At 9am, come together for an ice-breaking session, prepared to get to know the rest of the group and to share your expectations of this experience. Then, you’ll be joined by a master who will begin to teach you ‘Ba Duan Jin’, a form of traditional qigong therapeutic exercise, that features a series of eight gentle movements designed to improve health and wellbeing. This will be followed by a session of ear seeding, a form of acupressure on and around the ear. Head out into Chongqing, pausing at Liziba to watch the light rail train pass through a residential block before ascending to the Cloud Eye Observation Deck for panoramic views of the city. Later, step from ultramodern to historic with a stroll through the quaint cobble streets of Ciqikou Ancient Town.
Start the day with a meditation session before returning to your Ba Duan Jin practice with a master. Visit the headquarters of Chongqing Changan Automobile Company Limited for a fascinating tour into the workings of this state-owned manufacturing giant. This evening, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot spring bath facilities close to the hotel.
After this morning’s meditation practice, partake in a session of Wu Qin Xi. Another system of ancient qigong exercise, the master will teach you the five forms, based on the movements of five animals – tiger, deer, bear, monkey and bird. Stop by Chongqing Zoo's Panda House to see the incredible Giant Panda. Then, meet the teams at Jiangxiaobai Distillery and Jiangxiaobai Baijiu Factory to hear about their new marketing strategy. Then, take a walk through Shibati (Eighteen Stairs), one of Chongqing’s traditional style districts, and climb the historic stone-paved stairway that gives the area its name. Dinner tonight will be at SpaceLab at Raffles City, a space-themed restaurant that combines technology and entertainment.
Continue your meditation practice and learning the five forms of Wu Qin Xi with a master for guidance. Discover more about Chongqing’s position as a hub of robotics and intelligent manufacturing with a tour of OPPO, a behind-the-scenes look at this Intelligent Eco Tech Park, before visiting the Robot Exhibition Hall followed by the AI and Robot Application Centre for an interactive experience. Tonight, recharge mind and body with a local speciality, a hot pot.
Take part in a final meditation session, before a master arrives to take you through some tai chi postures for an invigorating start to the day. Leave the city to visit the magnificent Dazu Rock Carvings; made between the 9th and 13th centuries, there are thousands of beautifully preserved Buddhist, Taoist and Confucianist idols and symbols to admire in a spectacular hillside setting. Return to Chongqing where, this evening, you’ll get to enjoy the Glamorous Chongqing Drone Show. Thousands of synchronised drones fly in an intricate aerial display over the city in an unmissable, immersive audiovisual spectacular.
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home, arriving the same or the following day.

On most tours, you can choose our 'Happy to Share' option, which may enable you to share a twin room with other solo customers of the same gender who also request Happy to Share. If a share partner is found, the Single Supplement will be removed from your booking. If a share partner is not found, the Single Supplement will remain and is payable with your final balance.
If you are booking on a Dedicated Solo departure, a single room is already included in the price and there are no additional single supplements to pay.
