India’s most famous and popular national park, all visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of what Ranthambore is best known for - its population of majestic Bengal tigers. The park’s population of tigers is around 48 and they are, perhaps surprisingly, relatively easy to spot (not guaranteed of course) amongst the wild jungle of the park, particularly in the early morning. There are also a great many other animals that call the park home including leopards, sloth bear and nilgai, plus over 300 species of bird.
